May 12, 2025

Feeling hungry? When you’re in Pigeon Forge, you’ll have no shortage of great places to eat. Whether you’re in the mood for a full family dinner or a quick and easy meal, you’re in for a treat. To help you decide on the best places to dine while you’re in town, we’ve made a list of three of the best restaurants in Pigeon Forge:

1. Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show

Of course, our top choice for a place to eat in the area is our dinner show! Although we’re not technically a “restaurant,” we do provide a mouth-watering meal that’s unlike anything you’ll find at other restaurants in town. Not to mention, you’ll get a side of action-packed entertainment with your dinner! We serve our guests a four-course meal that starts off with Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup and a Buccaneer Biscuit and continues with Cracklin’ Pan-Fried Chicken, Swashbucklin’ Sugar-Cured Ham, and delicious sides. For dessert, choose from Apple O’ Me Eye Pie or Chocolate Coconut Cake! We’ve created a dinner that even the pickiest of eaters love, and we have special meals available upon request for those with dietary restrictions. If you or someone in your party needs a gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or vegetarian meal, all you have to do is let us know when you make your reservations.

As for the entertainment, you’ll witness thrilling acrobatics, pyrotechnics, live animal tricks, and so much more as the Crimson and Sapphire crews battle for the coveted treasure. We don’t just offer dinner — we offer a memorable evening of pirate-themed fun!

2. Frizzle Chicken Café

One of the best restaurants in Pigeon Forge is Frizzle Chicken Café. Here, you’ll be able to enjoy a hearty Southern breakfast or lunch, along with some unique entertainment! This family-friendly restaurant is loved by both kids and adults. For breakfast, kids can dig into specialty Bear Cakes, tasty pancakes in the shape of a bear, and adults can choose from a variety of breakfast favorites, like Chicken n Waffles and French Toast. If you decide to visit for lunch, you’ll have your choice of sandwiches, chicken tenders, or burgers. Whenever you decide to dine, you’re guaranteed to be entertained! The restaurant is home to singing animatronic chickens that keep a smile on all guests’ faces.

3. Wilderness Pass Restaurant at Dollywood

If you’re visiting Dollywood and start to feel hungry, you’ll have plenty of great dining options all around you! One restaurant you don’t want to miss is the Wilderness Pass Restaurant. It offers a family-friendly outdoor dining atmosphere and a menu that’s packed full of Southern recipes and Appalachian culture and cuisine. Some highlights on the menu include BBQ braised beef, slow-smoked pulled pork, and country sausage. Don’t miss out on some cheese grits or spicy collards on the side!

Other popular restaurants at Dollywood include Aunt Granny’s, Hickory House BBQ, and Red’s Drive-In.
