What to Expect at Our Panama City Beach Theater

This dinner attraction brings something brand new to the Emerald Coast, and after much success in Myrtle Beach, SC, and Pigeon Forge, TN, we’re excited for everyone in Panama City Beach to witness it! To help you learn more about our dinner show and to better prepare for your visit, we’ve created a guide to what to expect at our Panama City Beach theater:
Animal Encounter
In addition to our delicious dinner and entertaining show, our theater will be home to other exciting experiences you don’t want to miss. One of those experiences is our Animal Encounter! This is a unique educational opportunity that allows guests to learn more about our animal performers. Not only can you learn more about them, you’ll also be able to interact with them! Get up close and personal with sea lion, dog, and bird performers at Pirates Voyage. We recommend booking your Animal Encounter experience for the same day as our show for the ultimate experience.
Pirate & Mermaid Makeovers
When you arrive at our Panama City Beach theater early, you’ll have the opportunity to Join the Crew! Captain Blackbeard is scouring the area for his new recruits, and you could be one of them. Our Join the Crew experience is available for all ages for an additional fee and gives you the choice of a swashbuckling pirate makeover or a beautiful mermaid makeover. Once your transformation is complete, you’ll feel like a part of the show!
Gift Shop
Your evening at Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show wouldn’t be complete without some pirate treasure! You can find your coveted treasure in our gift shop. Browse everything from handcrafted pirate ships and ceramic mermaids to unique t-shirts and plush animals. You can expect to find something for all ages in our gift shop!
Specialty Drinks & Grub
If you’re feeling hungry before the show and can’t wait for dinner, stop by our bar for some specialty drinks and grub. Grab a refreshing drink and relax before the main event. Make sure you leave enough room to enjoy our four-course feast during the show!
An Indoor Lagoon
When you take your seats in our theater, your eyes will be drawn to our 15-foot-deep lagoon. The lagoon, which is called Buccaneer Bay, holds more than 600,000 gallons of water and allows us to incorporate high-diving tricks and beautiful mermaid stunts.
Two Full-Sized Pirate Ships
In the lagoon, you’ll find two full-sized pirate ships. The ships paint the scene for the pirate battle perfectly. Watch as the pirates scale the sides of the ships and battle each other on land, on deck, in the air, and high above the water. The ships are the perfect stage for an evening filled with high seas escapades and romance.
Epic Pirate Battles
Speaking of pirate battles, guests will be on the edge of their seats as they watch the Crimson and Sapphire crews fight to be the ones to come out on top with the sunken treasure. During their battle, you’ll witness sword fighting, pyrotechnics, diving, and more.
Mermaids
Mermaids also join in on the action in Buccaneer Bay! Watch as they perform gracefully high above the lagoon before diving back into the water. The aerial and diving stunts will have your eyes glued to the center of the theater!
Live Animal Tricks
Pirates and mermaids aren’t the only performers who get to have fun. We also have live animals! Sea lions, dogs, and birds all get to show off their skills. Experience sea lions performing clever tricks, tropical birds taking flight, and daring dogs diving off the dock. Our animals add a whole new level of excitement to the show!
Fire Acts
You can also expect to see impressive fire acts at our Panama City Beach theater. The show features pyrotechnics and more tricks that will light up Buccaneer Bay in flames!
Dolly Parton Influence
One thing that makes our Panama City Beach dinner show special is Dolly Parton’s influence. Dolly Parton loves to dream big, and she went “overboard” with all the details that went into creating Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show! You can expect to feel her influence throughout the show. Listen closely while you’re here because you’ll even hear a few songs she wrote specifically for the show!
Four-Course Feast
Of course, you can expect to enjoy a hearty four-course pirate feast at Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show. We haven’t released the full details of our menu yet, but we promise it won’t disappoint! Even the pickiest of eaters will love our dinner. It’s designed to satisfy the hungriest of landlubbers and pirates alike!
