Embark on an ALL NEW Holiday Adventure!

November 2, 2026

This holiday season, Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show brings an entirely new Christmas production to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with the premiere of a fun, adventurous yuletide journey that celebrates all of the experiences that make the holidays special. Opening Wednesday, Nov. 4 and continuing through Jan. 2, 2027, the brand-new show features a new Christmas story as the swashbuckling crew of characters led by Captain Blackbeard brings the “Yo Ho” to the season’s “Ho Ho Ho” while searching for a lost treasure of Christmas gifts and serving up a bountiful four-course holiday feast fit for celebrating the season.

During the new Christmas at Pirates Voyage show, a mysterious Traveler in Red arrives in Buccaneer Bay to find that his satchel of gifts has gone missing on Christmas Eve. Captain Blackbeard and his first mate Calico Jack join in the hunt for the missing holiday treasure that must be found before midnight so that Christmas can be saved – and engage in a variety of activities to see if they are on the nice list for the holidays. The show’s audience is recruited to join in the search through a series of adventures and competitions with the Crimson and Emerald pirate crews until the gifts are found, including the Dasher Splasher, Pirate Lords a Leaping, the Greatest Gift Relay and the Yule Log Run to earn the coveted Holly Jolly Roger. And when Captain Blackbeard tries on the Traveler’s red coat, he finds the true spirit of Christmas and experiences the reverence of the first Christmas through an inspiring live Nativity featuring Wise Men and an angel with a special holiday message for landlubbers and pirates alike.

Christmas at Pirates Voyage offers additional holiday fun as giant Christmas toys come to life, while the Crimson and Emerald pirate crews perform amazing acrobatics from high above Buccaneer Bay.  Sugarplum fairies, Nutcracker characters and holiday mermaids all take part in helping provide merriment and excitement while searching for the Christmas treasure foretold by the Traveler in Red. A comical Christmas castaway and her jolly sea lion companion add lighthearted holiday antics as they help Blackbeard and the Buccaneer Bay pirates discover the Spirit of Christmas and learn that the greatest joy can be found in giving.

As always, this adventure begins in the Pirates Village, where younger swashbucklers as well as parents and grandparents can “Join the Christmas Crew” and be transformed into holiday mermaids and yuletide-themed pirates before the main show begins. The four-course holiday feast straight from Captain Blackbeard’s Christmastime galley begins with warm Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup and a Buccaneer Biscuit. The festive feast fit for pirates and mermaids and even Santa himself continues with a Half O’ Roasted Chicken and Swashbucklin’ Sugar-Cured Ham, accompanied by a side of Cob-O’ Buttery Corn and Matey’s Mac ‘n’ Cheese. No meal is complete without a delicious holiday dessert, with guests having a choice of Apple O’ Me Eye Pie or rich chocolate coconut cake. Unlimited Coca-Cola, tea or coffee are served with every meal; vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meals are available upon request.

“We’re incredibly excited to give families an entirely new Christmas experience at Pirates Voyage this year,” said Rob Mills, General Manager. “For guests who have made our show part of their holiday traditions, there’s a whole new story and adventure waiting for them, and families experiencing Christmas at Pirates Voyage for the first time are in for something really special.
