Visiting Pirates Voyage in Pigeon Forge: What to Expect the Day of the Show

We want everyone who visits us to have an incredible time and leave with memories that will last long after the show. To help you prepare for your visit and guarantee that you have the best experience possible, we’ve created a guide to what to expect the day of the show.
When to Arrive
One important thing to keep in mind when preparing to visit our dinner show is that you’ll want to arrive early! You don’t want to miss a second of any of the action. We also have some activities before the show that will make your experience even better. We recommend arriving at least an hour before your scheduled show time to enjoy all the fun! If you plan to skip the activities before the show, we still recommend arriving 30 minutes early to allow yourself enough time to pick up your tickets, take a group photo, and head to your seats.
Note: Keep in mind that traffic in Pigeon Forge can be busy, so you’ll want to factor that into the time you choose to leave for the show!
Where to Get Tickets
We always recommend purchasing your tickets ahead of time. You can buy your tickets online using our convenient show schedule. When you have your tickets beforehand, all you have to do is pick them up from the box office on the day of your show!
What to Do Before the Show
The fun begins before the show! There are several exciting activities you can enjoy before our dinner show to maximize your time. You can stop by our Pirates After Dark™ bar for some specialty drinks and grub, or visit our Pirates Treasure® gift shop for the perfect souvenir! Our gift shop has something for everyone, including beautifully handcrafted pirate ships, skull mugs, ceramic mermaids, unique pirate t-shirts, plush toys, playful swords, and more. Don’t forget to grab a cheering flag to use during the show! If you’re visiting with kids, you’ll love our Join the Crew experience. Captain Blackbeard is on the lookout for his next recruits — and your kids could be them! When they Join the Crew, they’ll choose to transform into a swashbuckling pirate or a beautiful mermaid. The makeovers include facial makeup and various accessories, like a sword or a wand! The adults can participate in the fun too — our Join the Crew experience is available for all ages for an additional fee.
What to Expect at the Show
Once you’ve finished enjoying all the before-the-show fun and take your seats in our theater, get ready for an action-packed event! You’ll be served a four-course feast that’s made to satisfy hungry pirates and landlubbers alike. It starts off with our Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup, a dish that all of our guests love. The meal continues with Cracklin’ Pan-Fried Chicken and Swashbucklin’ Sugar-Cured Ham, along with mouth-watering sides. Save room for Apple O’ Me Eye Pie for dessert! While you dine, watch an epic pirate battle unfold right before your eyes, complete with acrobatics, sword fighting, pyrotechnics, high-diving, and more. Mermaids, sea lions, daring dogs, and tropical birds join the excitement as well! There won’t be a minute of boredom throughout the entire evening.
After the Show is Over
Although the show will eventually come to a close, your memories from the evening will last a lifetime. After the show is over, we encourage everyone to pick up a souvenir from the gift shop if they haven’t already!
